This is a simple brochure intended to  alert unsuspecting local governments that the ground rules for accepting HUD grants has changed.

HUD’s new Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule

Alert to Local Governments

Local officials need to be alerted to a massive Federal takeover of our communities.  As of July 16, 2015, HUD has a new 377- page rule called Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH).  Any county, city or town that accepts grants from HUD will be forced to implement low-income racially balanced housing into their neighborhoods as early as July 1, 2017.

Exactly the look you will get from your neighbors when they hear about AFFH

Exactly the look you will get from your neighbors when they hear about AFFH

Because they are apparently too white and too rich, 1200 suburban neighborhoods nationwide have been targeted by HUD that must implement high-density, low-income housing to eliminate segregation and racial imbalances. In order to continue receiving HUD grants, local governments and HUD jurisdictions will be forced to agree to the terms of the new AFFH rule thereby incriminating themselves and compromising their own local zoning laws, HOA covenants, and planning commission decisions.

  1. Civil rights groups and other predatory third parties will sue communities by using data provided with grant applications
  2. DC bureaucrats and regional authorities will diminish, if not eliminate local control
  3. Huge tax increases by our local cities, towns and communities will be necessary to support subsidized housing and infrastructure for minority populations imported from crime-ridden neighborhoods and cities
  4. Property values will be destroyed with population increases and less desirable housing

Remedy…..Tell your elected officials: County Commissioners, Mayors, City and Town Council Members and respective legal counsel 1) Do NOT participate in updating the AFFH Tool database, and 2) Do NOT accept any HUD (e.g., CDBG) grant money.   Contact your HOA and encourage it to notify the residents about this Federal takeover of our local communities.
